OH WHAT A YEAR! After being stuck inside for more than a year this lobster season was a welcome adventure! Didn't get to dive for mini-season but the first weekend for the regular season was good. Went out with one of my girlfriends, although not easy, we got our limit and the next 3 nights had lobster for dinner. Life is good! WOOHOOOO! It's Lobster season! Quite possibly my favorite season to look forward to! Mini-season here in the sunshine state is the last Wednesday, Thursday of July with the regular season starting August 6th and ending March 31st. Hundreds of crustacean loving South Floridians don wetsuits, rash-guards, masks and fins and jump in the water with nets, sticks and (recently for me) snares, all in the search for this ugly (hence the name bugs) but wonderfully delicious delicacy.  Last week I was invited to go out with some friends in the keys for the start of regular season and we stacked up!
